Job Description
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations, minimising downtime and optimising performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems in compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical and instrumentation equipment, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, maintenance logs, and work orders.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer in the nuclear or related sector.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems used in nuclear or similar facilities.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures governing the nuclear industry.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation equipment using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certifications and licenses related to electrical and instrumentation maintenance in the nuclear sector are desirable.
