Organisation Summary and Post Context:
Headquarters JSEC provides a resilient operational-level Joint Headquarters, capable of supporting 24/7 operations to coordinate enablement (at the operational level) and, on order, the execution of reinforcement by forces (RbyFo) and sustainment flow to contribute to the Alliance's ability to project and sustain combat power into, across, and from the Area of Responsibility (AOR), and, if required, into a Joint Operations Area (JOA).
The Support Directorate (SPT) offers cross-functional expertise in Supply and Services, HNS Military Engineering (MILENG), Medical Support, Maintenance, CIS, Human Resources (HR), and Logistics Information Management.
The J6 Division develops and implements policies, plans, and procedures for CIS and Information Assurance (IA).
The Communications and Information Systems Branch manages CIS, service status, spectrum, network management, and CIS engineering requirements for exercises and operations.
The incumbent ensures interoperability of all Functional Area Services within HQ JSEC and with other headquarters, supporting CIS interoperability exercises.

University degree in IT, computer science, networking, communications, or related, with 2 years of relevant experience, or higher secondary education with advanced vocational training and 4 years of experience.
Experience in Command and Control support, cyberspace support, and employment of communications and information services.
Desirable NATO courses include C4ISR Orientation, COP Management, FAS Operational Usage, NATO Orientation, and LOGFAS Fundamentals.
English – NATO Standard Proficiency 3333.

High-level contacts within NATO, NATO agencies, national defense ministries, and other military and civilian personnel.
Acts as SME for CIS/Cyber, supporting interoperability and NATO CIS/Cyber development, enabling effective planning and maintenance of CIS/Cyber capabilities in wartime, crisis, and peacetime.
Potential deployment support, TDY, and operational duties supporting NATO's strategic objectives. Deployment may exceed 30 days and be on short notice.
Must obtain NATO SECRET clearance before employment.
Initial three-year contract, renewable or extendable, with NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations applicable.
