Job Description:

Our project managers lead a project from the signing of the contract through to commissioning. They proactively lead the project team to ensure the successful realization of the project. The typical scope of a customer project is the delivery and technical integration of main components such as inverters, batteries, and medium-voltage stations. This is supplemented by services such as commissioning and, if necessary, construction work.

Your contribution to the “big picture“

• You have overall project responsibility for the project-specific scope of services and delivery from contract signing to handover to service management in accordance with the Altenso Project Management Framework and manage customer projects (no major customers) in the field of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• You are the interface to all external and internal project stakeholders (e.g., customer, team members, in-house specialists, subcontractors) and provide targeted project information.
• You ensure the completion of deliverables and adherence to contractual timelines (scheduling).
• You are responsible for the contract management of the overall contracted and sub-contracted scope.
• You identify risks and opportunities throughout the project execution phase, implement mitigation plans, and ensure specific timely reporting.

Required skills

• Degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or another engineering specialization, ideally related to the construction and energy industry.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a project manager or project engineer with management experience in relevant business areas such as battery storage systems (BESS), photovoltaics, wind power, industrial plants, or infrastructure construction.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a structured approach to work.
• Very good knowledge of German and English and a willingness to travel round off your profile.
