I'm currently working in partnership with a Housing Association to hire a Research Officer on a permanent basis.

£30,000 - £36,000 per annum DOE

Work model: 3 days per week office-based, 2 days home working (hybrid model)

Location options: Somerset office, South Coast office, or Southeast office

Role overview

As a Research Officer, you will scope out, manage, and conduct primary and secondary research projects, delivering high-quality, insights-driven results.

You will develop methodologies for data collection, analyze and summarize research findings, and produce evidence-based recommendations.

You will leverage your market research or business research experience to deliver a variety of projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in qualitative research, including designing discussion guides, facilitating interviews and focus groups, analyzing qualitative data, and producing actionable reports.
• Proven experience in quantitative research methodologies, survey design, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Degree in a research-related discipline or relevant professional qualification (e.g., Market Research Society) is advantageous.
• Strong numerical skills, with the ability to interrogate information and solve problems logically and objectively.
