We are seeking an Entwicklungsingenieur (m/w/d) in part- or full-time to oversee reliability testing of power electronic components, coordinate the technical team, and contribute to the design and development of new test benches.

Our young and dynamic company, spun off from the Chair of Power Electronics at TU Chemnitz in November 2021, specializes in testing services for power modules. We conduct reliability tests, develop test setups for clients, and are involved in EU-funded projects in close collaboration with research institutions. We focus on advancing modern technologies like electromobility and renewable energy, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions and grow further.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage reliability tests such as load change tests, HTRB, HTGB, H3TRB, and AQG-324 standards.
  • Design and develop new test benches for client applications and internal projects.
  • Interpret test results and report findings to clients.
  • Integrate simulations and AI methods into testing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team and clients to meet project requirements and address challenges customer-orientedly.

Profile

  • Degree in Power Electronics or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in reliability testing and test bench development within power electronics.
  • Knowledge of simulation and AI methods for test development or fault analysis.
  • Programming skills in LabVIEW and C.
  • Experience working with clients and coordinating workflows.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a reliable, independent work style.
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems and solve them customer-orientedly.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
