Job Description:

Are you interested in joining an agile team where collaboration and innovation are valued? We are seeking a motivated engineer to work on international projects within our global engineering team.

Your Tasks

You will handle development and data analysis tasks related to our electrical pitch & yaw system, which includes frequency converters controlling electro-mechanical drives and energy storage systems to ensure pitch safety during grid outages.

Specific responsibilities include:

• PLC programming using CoDeSys
• Designing, executing, evaluating, and documenting tests for the electrical pitch & yaw system at component, system, and turbine levels
• Analyzing field data to verify system behavior
• Programming and configuring pitch converters according to specifications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and create technical specifications
• Reviewing technical solutions, component sizing, and configurations with external suppliers
• Creating technical documentation such as FMEA, manuals, and notifications

Your Profile

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, preferably in automation, power electronics, or electrical drives
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience in PLC programming; knowledge of CoDeSys and/or Python is a plus
• Data analysis experience is advantageous
• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or German skills are beneficial
• Structured, autonomous, solution-oriented, accurate, and efficient working style
• Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively in global teams
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for testing at test benches
