Gr4vy (pronounced Gravy), is a "no-code" cloud payments orchestration platform. Our mission is to become the platform of choice for retailers deploying payment infrastructure worldwide. Founded by former PayPal fintech leaders, Gr4vy aims to disrupt the $4 trillion global retail payment space by simplifying merchants' payment infrastructure management.

Having raised a total of $27.2M in funding and nearly doubling our valuation in less than a year, it’s an exciting time to join our marketing team. You’ll have the opportunity to work with industry experts and help shape Gr4vy’s product marketing strategy from the ground up.

About the role

Software Engineers at Gr4vy join a new, collaborative team working across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We operate in short two-week sprints, sharing, reflecting, and iterating on our work regularly.

Our platform primarily uses Javascript, React, and Typescript for frontend development. We employ unit, integration, and acceptance tests to guide design and ensure functionality.

Key responsibilities

As a software engineer at Gr4vy, you’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver software used by merchants globally. Your work will include writing HTML, CSS, Python, and Typescript to develop new features and refactoring our codebase for better maintainability. You should be comfortable writing modular code and understanding how your work fits into the bigger picture. Strong communication skills are essential for discussing problems and solutions with teammates. You’ll contribute ideas during product planning and development activities, and we encourage knowledge sharing through code reviews, pairing, mentoring, and feedback.

Requirements

We seek developers experienced with Typescript, preferably using React. Experience with libraries like Starlette and AsyncIO, and creating accessible HTML, is valuable. You should have a history of writing high-quality tests and understanding software design principles.
