Strategic Procurement Manager

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our Strategic Procurement team. In this role, you’ll be able to create a global impact, contributing significantly to Emma’s worldwide supply chain growth, and actively managing relationships with suppliers across the globe.

What you'll do:

• Strategic Cost Management: Lead substantial cost reduction projects, orchestrating multimillion-dollar price negotiations with key Business Partners to optimize efficiency.
• Manage Suppliers with Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, understand cost drivers per category, and stay abreast of sourcing markets and industry trends to ensure Emma sources at the most competitive prices.
• Risk Mitigation: Lead supply chain risk assessments, minimize the impact of unforeseen events, and develop risk management techniques to enhance Emma's resilience.
• Strategic Sourcing: Analyze and explore new sourcing regions, continuously identify and develop relationships with strategic suppliers to optimize Emma's supplier network.
• Collaborative Leadership: Drive strategic vendor development through close collaboration, identify and leverage value-adding opportunities, participate in product lifecycle decisions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders for successful product launches and transitions.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of practical business experience, ideally in Procurement.
• Innovative thinker with strong business judgment capable of creating solutions for complex problems.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent negotiation skills and motivation to strive for the best.
• Excellent communication skills to manage various stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages like Chinese are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to implement cost-saving strategies and leverage business sense to identify opportunities.
• Up-to-date with new technologies and willing to lead change through AI and related innovations.
