Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality care utilizing the nursing process, demonstrating knowledge and skills of the specialty.
• Consult resources within the hospital for specialized education.
• Prioritize patient and workplace safety by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, reporting concerns immediately.
• Complete documentation promptly for accurate legal records.
• Engage in professional development and share knowledge through networking and research.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current licensure in good standing as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
• Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Within 6 months of hire, acquire and maintain ACLS certification.
• Maintain annual educational requirements as specified by Nurse Manager.
