About the Role

In this position, you’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on developing advanced software for robotic platforms. You’ll contribute to building intelligent systems that interact with dynamic environments, leveraging modern AI tools and real-time programming skills.

Responsibilities

  • Writing and maintaining C++ and Python code for robotic control and perception
  • Designing machine learning pipelines for tasks like object identification, spatial tracking, or motion analysis
  • Collaborating with developers and system engineers to bring algorithms from concept to deployment
  • Applying best practices in software design, testing, and version control
  • Staying engaged with the latest developments in robotics and AI, and adapting them into practical solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong programming experience with both C++ and Python
  • Familiarity with modern ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Understanding of robotics workflows — sensors, kinematics, motion planning, etc.
  • Exposure to computer vision, real-time processing, or robotic control systems
  • Experience working with software tools like Git, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Academic foundation in computer science, robotics, or engineering (advanced degree )
  • Solid communication skills and fluency in English (German is a plus)
