As an HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department and assisting with various HR functions. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the effective and efficient management of HR operations within the organization. You will work closely with managers, employees, and other teams to provide the necessary support and expertise in HR-related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees, including preparing necessary documents, scheduling training sessions, and conducting introductory sessions.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations matters and mediate conflicts, providing guidance and support to resolve issues effectively.
- Assist in managing employee benefits programs like health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information system.
- Assist in performance management activities, including performance appraisals, goal-setting, and development plans.
- Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance and suggesting improvements for HR processes.
- Conduct research and prepare reports on HR metrics, KPIs, and trends for management review.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining HR files and documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
