Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

You will work in the area of "Architecture & Technologies". At CARIAD, we are the backbone of mobility and the interface to vehicle mechatronics in the Volkswagen Group. Our organization leads the transformation from a traditional manufacturing company to a software-driven tech player. We enable innovations from the vehicle to the off-board, forming the basis for future applications ranging from climate control to infotainment and autonomous driving. You will work in agile teams, contributing to the development of the next generation of E / E and software architecture. We are responsible for designing and implementing the architecture efficiently and consistently, directly enhancing the driving and user experience by reducing complexity and ensuring efficiency. Your tasks include specifying, developing, modeling, testing, calibrating, evaluating, and designing innovative technology requirements that captivate our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Specify test cases and drive error analysis in the context of related vehicle projects.
• Manage function development with internal and external partners.
• Plan feature setups with stakeholders such as project management and ECU developers, according to the defined functional maturity levels.
• Steer the integration of functionalities into ECUs / SW-stacks and provide technical support for suppliers and ECU developers.
• Identify future technical challenges and needs, creating the next generation of your System Function.

WHO YOU ARE

• A technical university degree (e.g., computer sciences, electrical engineering, physics) or similar qualification with relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in networking technologies, connected services, functional reliability, or project management.
• A drive to delve into technical details and solve complex challenges.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of aligning project partners towards optimal solutions from a holistic perspective.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German skills are a plus.
