CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Senior Authorized Person in Germany, Frankfurt to join as an Electrical Engineer for a data center project. The company specializes in engineering, commissioning and project management for mission-critical projects. Responsibilities

1. Act as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV and LV electrical systems on data center projects.
2. Carry out switching operations, isolation, and permit-to-work processes in compliance with safety regulations.
3. Issue electrical safety documents, ensuring safe working conditions for all personnel.
4. Oversee and ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards, including BS 7671, IEC standards, and local regulations.
5. Lead fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for electrical systems, working closely with commissioning teams.
6. Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless electrical system integration.
7. Conduct site inspections and audits to verify safety compliance and electrical system integrity.
8. Participate in risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety briefings to mitigate risks.
9. Ensure proper record-keeping of switching logs, test results, and safety documentation.

Requirements

1. Senior Authorized Person (SAP) certification with experience in HV/LV electrical systems.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, switching, and permit-to-work systems.
3. Experience working on large-scale data center projects or other mission-critical facilities.
4. Familiarity with electrical commissioning, fault-finding, and system energization.
5. Understanding of BS 7671, IEC standards, and European electrical regulations.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under high-pressure environment.
