IT Security Architect

As an IT Security Architect (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in shaping IT security architecture across both existing systems and new initiatives. By staying ahead of evolving threats and technologies, you’ll apply your expertise and passion for cybersecurity to continuously strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the IT security architecture and roadmap in close alignment with Information Security and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Manage and coordinate multiple security initiatives and projects across the organization.
• Establish governance frameworks for current and future IT security projects.
• Create and maintain documentation of security solution modules and architectural patterns.
• Integrate security principles throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Define and continuously improve IT security standards to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.
• Assess and mitigate risks by identifying security vulnerabilities and designing practical countermeasures in collaboration with internal IT teams.
• Monitor and evaluate new technologies and market trends relevant to IT security architecture.

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related discipline.
• Several years of hands-on experience in IT security architecture or a comparable role.
• In-depth knowledge of key security frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 2700x, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
• Certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Proficient in security architecture methods and techniques, with solid understanding of cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with project and application lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, customer-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
