Hygraph is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team and help us build the future of Content Management! You will take ownership of the Core team, responsible for the scalability, reliability, and extensibility of the Content API, MCP Server and related infrastructure. The Core team owns platform-wide technical foundations that impact all customers and product areas. You will work closely with a group of developers and manage customer relationships when needed.

Some Of Your Tasks And Responsibilities Will Be

  • Define and enforce API tech limits for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Guide GraphQL schema design; read/write queries to support robust APIs.
  • Establish foundations for platform observability and monitoring.
  • Drive AI-powered API workflows via internal tools (e.g., AI Lab) and implement customer-facing AI functionalities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to deliver platform features.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to inform the roadmap and prioritize features.
  • Act as a technical advisor to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Provide guidance and project priorities for the Infrastructure team.
  • Stay current on industry trends to evolve the platform strategically.

Essential Requirements For This Role

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS environments, ideally focused on developer platforms or APIs.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving organizations; excited by solving complex problems and driving them through execution.
  • Strong understanding of developer workflows, with hands-on experience in API integration and design (REST vs. GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with content modeling, federation concepts, and managing remote sources.
  • Comfortable with developer tools like Postman, curl, GraphQL Playground, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good grasp of modern web architecture, including headless CMS, CDNs, caching strategies, and frontend-backend separation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
