Scope: 65% part-time (25.16 hours)
The DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center (SFB 1665) "Sexdiversity. Determinants, meanings and implications of sex diversity in sociocultural, medical and biological landscapes" is a transdisciplinary network involving medicine, life sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The CRC aims to investigate the diverse manifestations of physiological sex across various contexts, from cellular and organ levels to social systems and epistemic cultures.
Tasks:
- Carrying out cell culture experiments and sample preparation for subsequent measurements
- Metabolic investigations on various sample materials using NMR spectroscopy
- Statistical analysis of NMR spectra and interpretation of results
- Active participation in the scientific program of the CRC's graduate college
Requirements:
- A very good degree in natural sciences (Master's or equivalent) in life sciences or biomedical sciences
- Interest in collaborating with scientists at the University of Lübeck and other universities, such as the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel
- Interest in working with scientists from humanities, social, and cultural sciences
- Knowledge of cell culture and statistical/bioinformatics methods
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a structured approach, and willingness to learn methods in NMR spectroscopy
