To strengthen our Energy Management department, we are looking for an additional Energy Manager for our Technology & Maintenance department at the Gernsbach site at the earliest possible date.

Energy Manager (m/f/d)

Main tasks and responsibilities

• company representative for energy management within the scope of DIN EN ISO
• All activities arising from the DIN EN ISO standard, such as promoting effective energy use and awareness at the site
• Creating an energy cost budget based on the production specifications
• Carrying out energy reporting, preparing monthly and annual energy consumption reports
• Checking energy bills and preparing energy cost provisions
• Supervision of the central energy recording system MessDas for displaying individual energy consumption – checking functionality, further development of energy flow charts, adding energy consumers, system and user administration, carrying out energy consumption evaluations
• Convening, organizing and holding regular energy team meetings
• Identification of energy-saving projects, presentation, calculations, evaluation and collaboration in the implementation of projects
• Implementation of all measures relating to the energy cost reduction program
• Responsibility for the preparation, timely submission and follow-up of all necessary applications, energy and electricity tax, for the Gernsbach site
• Contact person for and communication with authorities and service providers in the energy sector, DEHST, BAFA, customs
• Implementation, cooperation in emissions trading, preparation of the necessary data

Requirements

• Completed technical studies in the field of process engineering or similar, alternatively completed technical vocational training and further training as a technician
• Several years of experience in industrial energy and environmental management
• Experience in the field of heat generation desirable
• familiar with the relevant legislation in the field of energy supply
• good command of written and spoken English
