Your tasks

Your tasks will include:

  • Operating and administering the Cassandra infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Consulting, planning, and implementing projects for updates, scaling, or resource management, advancing the future of our database systems.
  • Ensuring the availability and reliability of services and databases, maintaining the highest standards of uptime and performance.
  • Proactively contributing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency, automation, security, and other critical aspects, making a tangible impact on our operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to push continuous improvement and innovation, working with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Your profile

Have you completed a technical degree or comparable training and have several years of relevant experience? Are you eager to work in a highly professional team on a database system with the highest security standards for over 42 million customers? You are an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Extensive experience in the architecture, administration, and optimization of distributed database systems, particularly NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in operating, creating, and scaling highly available database solutions, as well as infrastructure automation (Puppet, Ansible) and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana).
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, Bash), familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines, and ideally experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a production environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
