What you'll do

  • In your role, you are responsible for the implementation of group initiatives and secure close collaboration with group functions.
  • You will initiate actions to improve safety standards and support departments and plants in safety initiatives.
  • As an OPEX Manager (m/f/d), you will implement process improvement programs through best practice sharing across all plants.
  • Manage larger projects and follow up on the CAPEX portfolio in close cooperation with the plants is part of your role.
  • Your responsibilities include driving and supporting operational cost savings in plants by applying CI and best practices in close collaboration with the plants.

Who you are

  • You have established the basis for your professional journey through a degree in manufacturing engineering or in a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in Engineering or Operations Excellence Management, preferably in a global business setup, is mandatory for this position.
  • Shopfloor experience, strong leadership skills in terms of building relationships, as well as a disciplined and structured work practice are essential requirements.
  • Fluency in English and a willingness to travel abroad on business (30%) is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact actively and transparently with different hierarchical levels, departments, and countries round off your profile.
