We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) to join the Storefront Unit onsite in Hamburg or remotely within the EU.

As the Storefront API Team, we are responsible for maintaining and developing the Shop facing API for the Scayle Commerce Engine.
To offer high performance & throughput we use AWS OpenSearch and Redis as the underlying databases. Additionally, we maintain a replication system which synchronizes data from other Scayle Systems into our OpenSearch and Redis Database.

What you will do

• Plan and test new features developed by the team
• Maintain an automated test suite that covers both Smoke and End to End Tests using Playwright
• Oversee and steer the deployment process

Who you are

• You have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and debugging
• You have very good coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and have proven automation experience using them
• You are experienced in manual testing (explorative and destructive) as well as automated testing (e.g. with Playwright)
• You are able to get a quick grasp of complex technical systems
• You focus on the details but always keep the business value of the software in mind
• You are experienced with agile methodologies and understand what it means to have a quality mindset in an agile environment
• You possess very good communication skills and the ability to handle different stakeholders
• You speak and write English fluently
