Professor of Practice in Digital Finance and Technology

Objectives of the role:

• Conduct research in digital finance and technologies including blockchain.
• Provide leadership for the FS Blockchain Centre, developing its growth and activities.
• Develop and deliver high-quality programmes in blockchain, financial technologies, and related areas, including teaching roles.
• Require understanding of finance and underlying technologies like distributed ledger, blockchain, tokenization.
• Qualifications include a doctoral degree, academic experience, publication record, project funding experience, teaching experience, interdisciplinary mindset, leadership skills, and a strong network.
• Encourage applicants to support entrepreneurial activities in FinTech and develop innovative programmes.

The position is affiliated with the Finance Department and encourages interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments and external partners.
