We are looking for our Utilities Lead M/F/X for our Greenfield Project in Germany. You will be responsible to the project lead for all aspects of the project within limits assigned by the project lead.


This is a remote role for the first months (until July 2025), working from home. Afterwards, you will work on-site with the project team. You will report to the Engineering Lead. Join this exciting assignment for a permanent contract. A relocation bonus is offered if a move is necessary.


Tasks
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all McCain standards are understood and followed by consultants.
  • Consultant Coordination: Utilize outside consultants to ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
  • Project Design: Incorporate lessons learned into project design.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Interface with OEMs, project personnel, and consultants to meet process design parameters.
  • Support: Support module owners throughout the design phases, including setting expectations, reviewing progress, and resource allocation.
  • Design Review: Coordinate and participate in design reviews with the project lead.
  • Clash Detection: Lead McCain's representation in clash detection meetings.
  • Project Lead Interface: Act as interface for the Project Lead.
  • Scheduling: Prioritize and schedule design efforts to meet deliverables and project timelines.

Requirements
  • Experience: Leadership in environmental management, sustainability, environmental projects, and program management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of utility engineering, including water treatment, wastewater systems, energy supply, and air conditioning systems.
  • System Integration: Experience integrating utility systems into cohesive units.
  • Team Coordination: Ability to lead installation and maintenance teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Solve complex utility engineering problems.
  • Innovation: Develop new solutions and process improvements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with food production requirements and challenges is advantageous.
  • Regulations and Standards: Knowledge of German regulations and standards in utility engineering and environmental management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD and monitoring/analysis software for utility systems.
