Job Description:

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer (m/f/x) to join our engineering team. You will address unsolved problems in railway operations, working with experts committed to innovation. If you're proactive and creative, we want to hear from you. You will help embed our values into our work and culture.

Your Impact

1. You will develop solutions in train operations, including decision support for traffic optimization and data-heavy web applications, as part of a cross-functional team (UX, data scientists, data engineers, frontend, backend).
2. As a newly formed team member, you will help establish foundational practices and set directions.
3. You will own your designs and code, promote good coding practices, and ensure team accountability throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills (preferably):

• 5+ years of experience coding in Python or similar high-level language.
• 3+ years developing backend functionalities in a cloud environment, preferably AWS (Lambdas, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge), using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with front-end frameworks, e.g., React (+TypeScript).
• Experience with data engineering and database technologies, e.g., Spark and Delta Lake on Databricks.
• Knowledge of graph databases and machine learning is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptability across domains like Backend, Frontend, Data Engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong team collaboration and active communication skills.
• Results-oriented with a proactive execution approach.
