A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Proposal Project Manager (f/m/d) in our Power Plant business, you will lead and motivate a global bid team to deliver high-quality, competitive bids for various projects.

Your responsibilities include defining project objectives, bid strategies, cost calculations, risk management, scheduling, documentation, and budget management, ensuring quality and efficiency.

You will coordinate with different disciplines, interact with customers, partners, and contractors, lead negotiations, and report to management.

Your efforts will contribute significantly to Siemens Energy's success.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Lead a multi-disciplinary bid team across countries, fostering motivation and high performance
• Define bid strategies with Sales and other teams for gas turbine power plants and major projects
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Service, Projects, and other departments
• Engage with clients and partners, identify technical requirements, develop bid concepts, and lead negotiations
• Address complex technical challenges with your team
• Review technical bid documents, cost estimates, and risk mitigation strategies
• Support process improvements in Proposal Management

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering (Plant, Electrical, Mechanical, or similar)
• Experience in Power and Energy sectors, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, or Service
• Project management experience and team leadership skills
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Strategic thinking, adaptability, problem-solving, and openness to learning
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, with high-quality standards
• Fluent in English; German is desirable; willingness to travel
