Technical Design Program Manager (m / f / d)

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Technical Design Program Manager, located at our Stuttgart, Germany site.

Reporting to the Sr Director for Design, Process and Technology Engineering, the Technical Design Program Manager will be responsible for providing program management for Pursuit Engineering. This role involves leading a cross-functional, technical team in delivering quotes and technical design reviews, with the goal of winning major quotes.

What a typical day looks like :

1. Lead a cross-functional team of design engineers, validation engineers, supply chain, and manufacturing to deliver technical proposals and competitive quote responses for challenging opportunities.
2. Manage quote opportunities in new areas of product development with industry-leading technological solutions.
3. Drive the development of Best Cost solutions.
4. Lead the team to deliver technical design review packages that communicate Flex's technical solutions to the customers' engineering community.
5. Track quote project issues and drive them to closure, escalating to leadership as needed.
6. Lead pre-engagement efforts with customers to build relationships and technical knowledge for future quoting opportunities.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team :

• BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience as a Project Manager in full product development lifecycle projects from design inception to mass production.
• Previous design experience in automotive, connectivity, or electro-mechanical systems development.
• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills, initiative, superior problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.
