Become part of our Accounting solution team at Daimler Truck Financial Services.

The department “Finance and Controlling” oversees accounting, reporting and the design and management of financial reporting processes. Our team is specifically responsible for the implementation of the accounting system used by all Daimler Truck Financial Services entities worldwide, ensuring its governance, compliance with company and local regulations and continuous improvement. Furthermore, we act as a central point of contact for internal departments within Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH, its subsidiaries, and the central departments of Daimler Truck AG.

For this exciting and challenging area, we are looking for an Inhouse consultant for SAP FAST Rollout (f/m/x).

As an Inhouse consultant for SAP FAST Rollout (f/m/x), you will be responsible for the rollout and support of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services Group (DTFS). This also includes the proper integration into the system and process landscape of the local DTFS companies, as well as the integration into the Daimler Truck Group.

THESE CHALLENGES AWAIT YOU

• Support in the development of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) Group
• Rollout of the SAP accounting template in the Daimler Truck Financial Services companies worldwide
• Ensure the stabilization and the daily business operations in hyper-care phase
• Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for leasing and financing in the local companies
• Coordination of local process requirements and interfaces in cooperation with IT
• Training of end users in the processes and the SAP system
• Support of the local company after go-live
• Planning and organization of workshops and meetings
• Coordination of external consultants for several workpackages

Qualifikationen

THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

• A degree in economics with a focus on accounting/controlling, a degree in business informatics or a comparable course of study
• Several years of professional experience in the fields of accounting and controlling
• Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP certification)
• Experience with project work in an international environment
• Experience in the area of method, process and system design for accounting and controlling relevant business processes
• Process understanding in individual and consolidated financial statement preparation
• Ideally working experience with SAP FAST Template or within the Daimler Truck Financial Services Group
• Good knowledge of the legal framework of accounting as well as international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Business fluent in German and English
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of financial statement systems (e.g. MIF)
• Strong analytical, interdisciplinary and integrative thinking and acting in an international environment
• Interest in project work and knowledge of project management
• Ability to communicate complex issues in a target group-oriented manner
• Intercultural competence and teamwork
• Experience or knowledge in the financing and/or leasing environment, especially for DTFS
