CompuGroup Medical is seeking an ambitious and proactive Cloud DevOps Engineer to join us and help drive our ambitious technology plans. We are looking for someone passionate about cloud and DevOps topics, loving to manage software in a cloud-native self-managed platform.

Your contribution:

  • Manage our software and infrastructure release roll-out.
  • Enhance and support a build framework for deploying applications.
  • Support and work alongside Agile development teams to ensure they have all the facilities to get the job done.
  • Drive best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Establish and run processes for ongoing maintenance, monitoring, support, and security patching of a platform.
  • Ensure continuous improvement within the team.
  • Advocate and modernize the services (performance, availability, OLA/SLA,...).
  • Improve infrastructure development and application development.
  • Keep yourself up to date by attending main conferences, workshops, and in-house trainings.

What you bring along:

  • Experience in operational system administration and performance tuning of Windows/Linux servers.
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Strong attention to detail and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash used for cloud development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team members, other IT areas, and clients.
  • Ability to identify operational issues and support real-time solutions, making appropriate decisions.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, and data backup strategies in the cloud.
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (B2 level).
