Senior Full-Stack Java Developer – Fintech | Berlin (Hybrid)

Are you a Senior Java Developer with a passion for fintech and full-stack development?

Our client, a leading Berlin-based fintech company, is looking for a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience, strong backend expertise in Spring and Hibernate, and hands-on experience with React on the frontend.

As a trusted recruitment partner, we are supporting their search for top-tier tech talent to join their growing engineering team.

The Role:

You’ll be a key contributor to the design and development of scalable, high-performance financial applications, they have 2 main product lines in the areas of international payments and compliance. This is a full-stack position focused primarily on Java (Spring, Hibernate) on the backend, and React development on the frontend.

Requirements:

6+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in Java, with deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate
Experience building REST APIs and working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Solid hands-on experience with React.js
Familiarity with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in fintech or other regulated industries is a plus
Fluent English; German is a bonus
