Roles objectives

  • Conception, design and implementation of a market-oriented product strategy in dental SLM

  • Analyse customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships

  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation

  • Analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met

  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

Your responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle of entire SLM portfolio, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements, roadmap, and product launch

  • Translate product strategy into detailed product and workflow requirements

  • Create product strategy documents like business cases, ROI calculation, technical specifications

  • Cross-functional product-related project management with resources balance to ensure success for the entire organization

  • Close collaboration with R&D, production, RA, QA, marketing, and sales teams

  • Steer cooperation to selected SLM partners

  • Develop product positioning and appropriate differentiation messaging

  • Responsibility for global go-to-market strategy

Minimum Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in dental technology/ dentistry, medical technology, engineering, natural sciences or comparable

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in SLM and/ or CAD/CAM product management and/ or product development, ideally in dental industry

  • Experience with large CAD/CAM production facilities in the dental sector is an advantage

  • Excellent technical understanding coupled with in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in medical technology

  • Talent for organization paired with high enthusiasm for cross-functional team and project work, experience with agile methods required

  • Business proficiency in both German and English

  • Analytical thinking, pragmatic solution orientation as well as strong entrepreneurial mindset

  • Readiness to travel nationally and internationally for trade fairs, congresses or customer visits up to 20%
