The Solution Executive will maximize profitable company sales revenue by identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business with new and existing clients. This position primarily involves selling Sphera’s software solutions. The role embodies Sphera’s commitment to customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty, representing the company both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  1. Achieve and exceed yearly sales goals.
  2. Qualify and disqualify new business opportunities while identifying customer pain points.
  3. Deliver executive-level dialogues presenting Sphera’s value proposition.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers.
  5. Maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  6. Drive revenue growth across assigned business lines by identifying revenue drivers and metrics, creating visibility on revenue trends, and implementing actions to meet targets.
  7. Present solutions to key customers effectively.
  8. Develop enterprise software license proposals.
  9. Negotiate enterprise software contracts.
  10. Create closing plans for forecasted business opportunities.
  11. Close deals in a timely manner.
  12. Fully understand and articulate Sphera’s unique value proposition.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will own sales for a specific product line and geographic territory, possessing:

  1. At least 5+ years of successful experience selling Enterprise Software and Technology solutions to the Global 2000.
  2. Proven success in closing large, complex sales; innovative deal-making; leveraging sales channels and partners.
  3. Experience with negotiations, partnerships, and joint ventures.
  4. Experience implementing sales strategies in changing markets, understanding the product sales cycle and competitive landscape.
  5. Ability to adapt products, services, and operations to compete effectively.
  6. High priority on customer satisfaction, with excellent listening skills.
  7. Track record of closing major deals and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
  8. Enjoys engaging with customers and prospects, contributing positively to the sales process.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a team and navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
  10. Strong relationship management skills, externally and internally.
  11. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  12. Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently without large support staff.
  13. Consistently meets or exceeds sales quotas.
