Product Manager - Subscriptions & Payment (m/f/d) Munich, Berlin or Hamburg

Join our product team in Berlin, Hamburg, or Munich and play a pivotal role in driving the energy revolution. At 1KOMMA5°, we are creating Europe’s largest “one-stop shop” for renewable energy solutions—empowering households to live, heat, and move in a climate-neutral way with speed and professionalism. We face one of the greatest challenges of our time: the energy transition. We need passionate, forward-thinking individuals—heroes of the energy revolution—to transform Europe's energy supply sustainably.

As part of our team, you will own the product management for payments and subscriptions, ensuring seamless payment experiences that support scalable growth across our digital landscape globally. You will shape the monetization of our renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product lifecycle for payment and subscription offerings, from idea to implementation
  • Develop and optimize global payment processes for seamless, secure, and scalable transactions
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers as a key member of a cross-functional team
  • Conduct user research and analyze data to identify opportunities
  • Work with stakeholders to develop ideas that expand revenue streams and monetization
  • Define the product roadmap based on data and outcomes, aligning with international stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication among teams to ensure alignment and progress
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project delivery on time and quality standards
  • Present project updates regularly to maintain transparency
  • Ensure proper documentation and coordination of projects

Requirements:

  • Several years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, e-commerce, or payments
  • Understanding of billing and payment systems, integrations, and processes
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and motivate teams
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Figma, Miro, Power-BI, and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Customer-first mindset and focus on improving user payment and billing experiences
  • Data-driven and outcome-focused approach
  • Passion for sustainability and energy transition
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English; German is a plus
  • Bonus: experience in the energy industry
