IT-Consultant Infrastructure & Technology (all genders)

Essen, Germany

Additional locations include: Aachen, Köln, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Frankfurt, München.

As a Consultant, you serve as the link between business departments and IT implementation. You design and manage core business processes for our clients, optimize them with IT solutions, select appropriate technologies, and test solutions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Strategic consulting on IT alignment and design within the infrastructure environment for our clients
2. Analysis, modeling, and redesign of processes, components, and systems
3. Conceptualization and requirements management of IT systems
4. Definition of technology stacks and development environments
5. Transitioning processes into service functions, components, and architecture solutions
6. Test management and evaluation of IT security
7. Optimizing technologies concerning costs, quality, and flexibility to support new or changing business needs
8. Assuming partial project leadership, leading project teams, and conducting project controlling

Qualifications include:

• A completed scientific or technical degree, or studies in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualifications
• Knowledge of current technological trends in IT and related certifications
• Strong affinity for modern IT infrastructures, with professional or part-time experience preferred
• At least three years of experience in project management/control and in implementing application systems based on J2EE and/or .NET
• Familiarity with keywords and tools like Agile Transformation, process analysis per OCEB2, requirements analysis per IREB, test management per ISTQB, and consulting methods such as GAP analysis and Delphi method
• Creativity and analytical-conceptual skills, along with good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for project purposes
