For our business unit Mobile Quality Assurance, we are looking for two dedicated and motivated persons as:

Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer (d / f / m)

Role and Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal R&D, customers like mobile network carriers, and third-party developers to stay up-to-date with the risk level and defect resolution progress. Create and update existing test cases to improve product test coverage and effectiveness, evaluating test metrics to measure project exit criteria.
• Set up and lead automation test support; design, develop, and review automation test scripts (Python) based on UI objects and Android low-level system functions.
• Work within Agile / Scrum environments (Gitlab / Bamboo) with Samsung HQ and other European countries to increase automation testing rates and maintain OS upgrade compatibility.
• For Bixby 2.0 (digital assistant): set up test processes, review UX documents and test cases, handle defect review and classification with R&D, monitor test progress and status, evaluate test team performance, and balance workload.
• Manage Self-Certification network operator customized software: verify GSM / WCDMA / 5G / 5G-SA operator requirements and UE functions in IMS architecture protocols with Vo5G, VoWiFi, RCSe. Coordinate with Samsung's local offices in different European countries to verify local operator network requirements and compile results for final reporting.
• Lead 5G hardware-performance tests for 5G / 5G-SA. Set up 5G test environments, including preconditions, reference comparisons, and PASS / FAIL criteria for static and mobile 5G performance and protocol verification.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical university degree with 3-5 years of experience in mobile technology business.
• High level of flexibility.
• Strong understanding of mobile technology business.
• Good problem-solving skills such as prioritization, critical thinking, and hypothesis development.
• Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
