Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web development and platform building initiatives. Your responsibilities will include digitizing our customer journey through the development of a self-service platform, automating processes to enhance energy consulting efficiency, and creating customer-centric products aligned with our mission.

You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and performant software, leveraging automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with a cross-functional team of 8, including engineering, data, product design, and product management, participating actively in code reviews and product research.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in web application development with Ruby on Rails in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of modern web development approaches such as GraphQL, containerization, security enhancements, and front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with software architecture, web/cloud development, testing methodologies, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• A passion for the Ruby ecosystem and continuous learning mindset.
