Mechanical Engineer – Frankfurt
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to play a key part in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an international engineering and design consultancy.
Location: Frankfurt
Salary: €55,000 - €85,000 + package benefits
Job Description:
The Resolute Group is partnering with an international engineering and design consultancy to expand their M&E team, focusing on data centre projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of small-scale projects, including research, development, design, and coordination of engineering services for mechanical installations, systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Design and implement controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering services.
- Conduct surveys, tests, and assessments of existing electrical and mechanical installations, providing detailed reports.
- Specify activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and testing meet specifications and customer needs.
- Prepare and modify specifications using Word, Excel, and other tools.
- Ensure engineering calculations and drawings comply with industry standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in German; ideally fluent in English.
- Experience working on similar projects within Germany, adhering to local laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, and relevant software.
- Ability to use IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software effectively.
- Familiarity with BS standards, international regulations, and German codes is desirable.
