Our Cyber Security Operations team offers security services, consulting, and develops security workflows, working closely with CERT & Threat Detection Engineering.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering, operating, and refining critical security systems and tools such as Cloud Security Infrastructure, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR.
• Advise business units and cybersecurity colleagues on evaluating cybersecurity topics and strategic decisions impacting the E.ON group. Develop effective, user-friendly solutions for technical cybersecurity challenges, especially within CERT and Detection teams.
• Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, infrastructure, and tools, ensuring compliance by internal teams and external service providers.

Your Profile

• Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in IT/server administration and/or cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with security tools such as MS Sentinel, MS Defender XDR, PA XSOAR, or equivalent EDR/XDR tools.
• Strong expertise in managing cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues clearly.
• Proven project management skills and ability to handle complex tasks.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
