Senior Development Engineer Java EE Microservices (f / m / x)

Qualifications:

• Degree in STEM, economics, or a similar qualification
• Excellent knowledge of Java APIs, frameworks like Spring (Boot), Hibernate, and protocols such as HTTP/Rest, Kafka
• Experience with build tools, CI/CD processes in Azure, and version control systems
• Practical experience in test automation and agile development (Scrum) with current technologies
• Structured, goal- and solution-oriented working style with a high willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to develop sustainable solutions and think innovatively
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop customized IT solutions focusing on microservices and private cloud architectures in a Java EE environment
• Support throughout the development process: analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, documentation, and ensuring governance and security compliance
• Participate actively in the build process, ensuring seamless translation of code into finished products
• Implement quality assurance measures and develop automated tests (functional, integration, regression)
• Analyze and resolve incidents and problems, communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure project success
