Senior Finance Manager

Opportunity to work for an international pharma company and develop a new internal function. This role will operate in a 'start-up' business environment whilst existing within a larger company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including general accounting, compliance with IFRS and German GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Enhance and manage financial accounting, billing, and auditing procedures, ensuring adherence to evolving standards and regulations.
• Support preparation of financial statements and reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Manage budgeting processes and implement improvements aligned with international headquarters’ directives.
• Develop and optimize ERP and planning systems.
• Lead and develop the Finance team, driving process efficiency and professional growth.

Your Profile:

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
• Strong experience in corporate finance, systems harmonization, and finance shared services within multinational organizations.
• ERP implementation experience (ideally SAP or Navision).
• Deep understanding of international and German accounting principles and regulations.
• Skilled in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
