As a (Senior) AI Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, production-ready data and AI architectures. You will collaborate with data scientists, developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to build secure, high-performing data infrastructures that drive enterprise-wide digital transformation.

The following tasks are waiting for you:

  • Cloud Architecture & AI Integration Consulting: Providing guidance on the design and integration of cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS) and AI technologies.
  • Architecture Development: Designing and implementing scalable Data & AI architectures, including Data Mesh and Lakehouse models, and driving the development of modern AI infrastructures.
  • Pipeline & MLOps Engineering: Collaborating with AI engineers and data scientists to build robust data pipelines, optimize MLOps / LLMOps workflows, and ensure smooth model deployment.
  • Governance & IT Security: Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance through data governance frameworks, system hardening, encryption, access control, and alignment with data protection regulations.
  • Mentoring & Team Development: Supporting the team in developing expertise in AI architecture through technical mentoring, knowledge sharing, and leadership.

Qualifications:

To be prepared for your journey as AI Architect, you should bring the following qualifications with you:

  • Completed studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Data & AI architectures.
  • Passion for developing innovative AI solutions, driving digital transformation, and mentoring teams.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI / ML models, MLOps, data pipelines (e.g., Spark, Kafka), and modern architecture patterns (e.g., Data Mesh, Lakehouse).
  • Your working method is characterized by a pragmatic mindset, strong analytical thinking, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges.

Things to know before departure:

  • Start Date: By agreement – always at the beginning of the month.
  • Employment Type: Indefinite.
  • Line of Work: Consulting.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (German is a plus).
  • Flexibility & willingness to travel.
  • Other: A valid work permit; if needed, we can apply for the work permit as part of our recruiting process. The process takes time and has an impact on the start date.
