Responsibilities

1. Strategic Consulting: Advising clients on the alignment and design of their IT infrastructures, acting as a bridge between business units and IT.
2. GIS Analysis and Optimization: Analyzing existing GIS implementations and identifying improvement opportunities.
3. Design and Conception: Designing, planning, and configuring GIS infrastructures and applications, including system consolidation, upgrades, and new applications like ALKIS, WebGIS, CloudGIS, and mobile solutions. Defining technology stacks and development environments.
4. Project Management: Leading sub-projects, managing project teams, and overseeing project control.
5. Pre-Sales Support: Assisting with client acquisition, pre-sales activities, and proposal development.

Requirements

1. Education: Degree in Geoinformatics, Geodesy, or a comparable qualification.
2. Professional Experience: Relevant experience in geodata infrastructures (GDI / GDM), preferably in consulting, with familiarity in popular GIS systems.
3. Practical Skills: Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Server and Desktop, including configuration.
4. Methodological Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile transformation, process analysis (OCEB2), requirements analysis (IREB), test management (ISTQB), and consulting methods like GAP analysis and Delphi method.
5. Additional Skills: Knowledge of ALKIS, GDI, GDM, and a good understanding of the market are desirable.
6. Languages: Excellent German and good English skills.
