Your tasks:
Study structure and remuneration: You will complete the theoretical phases (semesters) of the Bachelor's degree program at Hamburg University of Technology. During the lecture-free period, you will work with us in the company.
Course content: You will learn how to plan, control and optimize complex technical systems. The basic subjects in the core program are mechanics, production technology, design theory, computer science, materials science, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, fluid mechanics, measurement and control engineering, mathematics and business administration. In addition, your soft skills and management skills are promoted in additional modules.
Introduction: At the beginning of the dual study program, you will get to know the company in a two-month introductory phase.
Theory-practice link: In the practical phases, you will get to know the operational activities of the fields of process and production engineering, development, design, laboratory and test facility, production planning and quality and lean management in the exciting environment of an international corporation.
Project management and independent work: You will be closely involved in technical projects and, with increasing experience, work on and manage them independently (development of products and production processes, investment planning, process improvements, etc.).
Your profile:
School-leaving certificate: You have (soon) successfully completed your general qualification for university entrance (German Abitur) or have a corresponding professional qualification that meets the requirements for enrolment at Hamburg University of Technology.
Natural sciences: You have a good knowledge of mathematics and physics.
Motivation: You are enthusiastic about technical contexts and the production of industrial goods.
Personal strengths: Are communicative, appreciate teamwork and work purposefully and independently.
Language skills: Your written and spoken German skills are at least at level C1. You can also express yourself clearly and convincingly in English.
IT skills: You have experience in dealing with MS Office applications and, ideally, further experience in the use of IT tools.
