The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. We aim to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems, impacting important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Web, Android, and iOS engineering teams and cross-functional partners on creating core solutions for designing and implementing consent and transparency experiences across Google products.
• Partner with the UX team on developing a design library and framework to facilitate user-centric, research-backed, and compliant consent experiences.
• Design and implement solutions to expand platform capabilities and improve launch velocity.
• Collaborate with partners across Google on product-specific launches and compliance efforts.
• Participate in technical efforts, including performance optimization and reducing technical debt.
