As a Senior Full Stack Entwickler:in, you will ensure that over 30,000 employers can easily process and pay their employees monthly.
Join Lexware, the market leader in cloud software solutions for small businesses and self-employed professionals, supporting over 300,000 small and micro businesses in Germany with accounting, taxes, finance, payroll, and inventory management.
We are looking for your support as a Senior Full Stack Developer - Automated Payroll (d/m/w). Our offices in Freiburg, Leipzig, and Berlin offer a collaborative environment, but remote work is also possible.
What you will do
- Work as part of an agile, cross-functional team including Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst, developers, and UX designers.
- Contribute to and improve the Lexware Office codebase to meet evolving business needs.
- Participate constructively in team discussions, helping to make decisions and find solutions.
- Work independently to develop robust and feasible technical solutions for new features.
- Proactively address problems and obstacles, communicating directly with colleagues.
- Learn new topics and apply this knowledge to your tasks.
- Contribute to the success of Lexware Office and engage with a large tech community for continuous improvement.
What you bring
- Experience in developing cloud-based applications, microservice architectures, database design, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot; familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and cloud services like AWS is a plus.
- High-quality software development mindset, structured working style, and ability to learn complex domains.
- Customer-oriented perspective to make payroll a great experience.
- Enthusiasm for agile development (Scrum), teamwork, proactive communication, and responsibility.
- Excellent German skills (minimum C2).
