Postdoctoral Researcher (f / m / d) for Sustainability Assessment of Energy Technologies

Field of Study : Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Engineering Sciences

  • As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for analyzing the environmental, economic, and social impacts of emergent electrochemical energy storage systems.
  • Additionally, you will be involved in the methodological development of prospective approaches for sustainability assessments during early development phases.
  • Your research findings will be published in relevant journals and presented at national and international conferences.
  • The role also includes supervising students.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A university degree (Master) in environmental sciences, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline is required.
  • Ideally, you should have a completed doctorate in the field of sustainability analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA) and proven publication experience are necessary.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are also required.

Workplace : Institute of Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) in Karlsruhe.
