Job description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance, with experience working in a fleet environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose and repair various diesel engine issues while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including brake repair, shocks, and struts.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems within vehicles.
Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role, preferably within a fleet setting.
Strong knowledge of Peterbuilt engines and related systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.
