Your profile

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware development, with a strong portfolio to show.
  • Proficiency in hardware development and simulation tools.
  • Preferably, a good understanding of hardware-related programming.
  • High self-motivation and a proactive, hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Independent, structured, and process-oriented work style.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent communication skills.

Join our product development team as a key player in the specialized field of measurement devices, where we seamlessly blend electronic and optical components to pioneer innovations. Your role is central to evolving our sophisticated hardware architectures and firmware solutions, from conceptualization to the meticulous crafting of devices that set benchmarks in functionality and safety. As a pivotal bridge across departments and a direct liaison with our customers, you will be integral to the entire development journey, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the highest industry standards from initial design through to final production.

  • Develop initial concepts, designs, and feasibility studies.
  • Design hardware architecture and system design, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with other departments or customers to analyze technical requirements and prepare detailed specifications.
  • Set milestones and plan releases for both electronics and optical development.
  • Oversee and assess experiments, measurements, and functional tests.
  • Identify and qualify new components for use in our products.
  • Assess design changes for their impact on functional safety.
  • Support manufacturing and quality assurance as products move to mass production.
  • Develop or adapt test equipment and programming devices to meet quality standards.
  • Lead the commissioning and verification processes, establishing test criteria for validation and production.
  • Contribute to the updating and improvement of existing product lines.
  • Assist in product certifications and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Serve as the technical liaison for customers, development partners, and component suppliers.
  • Report directly to the Team Lead of Product Development, providing updates and insights on project progress.
