Lead Software Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity with one of our Big 4 clients. They are looking for a skilled Lead Software Engineer to join their team, supporting mainly automotive and insurance clients on their end-to-end development life cycles.

Job Responsibilities / Objectives

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of infrastructure and software, designing and scaling cloud-native solutions. Ideal candidates bring deep AWS expertise paired with hands-on skills in automation, scripting, or programming languages. You will lead architecture design, mentor engineering substreams / project teams, and deliver enterprise cloud transformations across sectors including Automotive, Insurance, and over 75% of Fortune 500 clients.

Required Skills / Experience

• Strong AWS experience (certifications or production deployments)
• Proficiency in any of the following : Java, Python, TypeScript, Go, or scripting (Shell, PowerShell)
• Proficient understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Understanding of microservices, serverless, or hybrid architectures
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries and NLP technologies
• Bilingual fluency in English and German (minimum B2 level)
