(Senior) Marketing Manager (m / w / d)

Become a part of our future at SMS group GmbH in Hilchenbach (near Siegen) or Mönchengladbach. We're looking for a candidate to temporarily assume the following role for two years:

YOU ACT

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications activities for the Center of Excellence Flat Products. It’s a versatile role with great impact on the development and expansion of the marketing function. Your tasks will include:

1. Development of strategic marketing and communication concepts, coordination of effective implementation and measurement of success. Collaboration with senior management to ensure strategy execution.
2. Creation of content with consistent, targeted, and impactful messages for internal and external communication via print and online media – including a social media strategy.
3. Creation of attractive formats and multimedia content, including content specifications for film & photo shoots, for various target groups.
4. Support conception and preparation of relevant trade fairs, events, and conferences.
5. Advise internal stakeholders, such as technical sales, on communication issues.

YOU KNOW

1. Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or capacity.
3. Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with high-quality standards.
4. Demonstrated experience with social media, Microsoft Office, image editing programs, and web content management systems.
5. Good technical understanding and interest in plant engineering.
6. Excellent German and English language skills.
7. High degree of creativity, initiative, and result orientation.
8. Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail-minded.
11. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
12. Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills.
13. Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues.
