Job Description

As a member of the Schulte Group, Pronav is a ship manager specialised in LNG, dedicated to serving its demanding customers with tailored solutions for technical and commercial management as well as crewing for all types of LNG carriers. Within its 25 years of history, Pronav has successfully performed about 4,500 LNG cargo operations either with shore-based terminals or with FSRUs and FSUs respectively. Key Accountabilities:

• Support the creation, storage, and documentation of SMS procedures and processes.
• Prepare company safety campaigns, programs, and trainings.
• Assist the HSEQ Manager in the day-to-day operation of the department, including development of records regarding the findings of audits, to facilitate the monitoring of vessels' operational vigilance and the development of required corrective actions.
• Collect, compile, and analyse HSEQ performance data, and follow up on key measures and corrective actions from QMS reviews and audits.
• Update and communicate new legal regulations that may affect the company to support compliance across all departments.
• Coordinate and arrange HSEQ training for shore personnel in collaboration with HR or external providers, maintaining relevant records.

Requirements

Your experience and education:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in maritime studies/similar, or have completed a professional apprenticeship in shipping (Schiffahrtskaufmann/frau), or another certificate in relevant maritime studies.
• It is highly desirable if you have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant position within a shipping company.
• You have professional practice in document control or document management systems.
• Further you:
• Have good knowledge of the ISM, ISO standards/requirements.
• Have organisational and communication skills.
• Are fluent in written and spoken English.
• Are skilled with the MS Office Package.
