Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Transformation & Operations, Finance Global Services team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Reinsurance Accounting Coordinator.


You can look forward to

  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the entire financial statement process
  • Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of financial statements in accordance with legal requirements and internal guidelines
  • Communication and coordination with various departments throughout the Hannover Re Group to coordinate the closing processes
  • Preparation of financial statement documentation and evaluations for internal and external use
  • Support in the further development of IT systems and tools for the automation and optimization of the closing process

You come equipped with

  • Experience in accounting (in the area of (re)insurance, banking, tax)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (in particular HGB, IFRS)
  • Degree in business administration or comparable training
  • German and English at a business fluent level
  • Experience in working with SAP is an advantage
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • IT affinity and willingness to familiarize yourself with various IT technologies
  • Very good understanding of numbers and analytical thinking skills
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Confident and service-oriented demeanor towards internal customers
